Hi, Here is a question for you experts - my headlight chrome rim (on both sides) doesn't fit the Ghia's body. the parts i got, back to front : back bucket - the part that bolts on to the body. internal bucket - this part holds the lens\reflector from the back and have a spring to it for headlight adjustment. Reflector\lens - a 7" sealed (?) "LUCAS" internal chrome ring - hold the reflector from the front side Chrome ring\rim - this part fits the reflector but not the entire assembly. My question - what do i have wrong? is it the back bucket that doesnt allow the internal bucket to mount properly? or is it the chrome rim? Any advise will be appreciated, as i want to obtain the correct parts for it. here are some pictures: here you can the entire assembly, the rim doesnt close the rear bucket the reflector and the front rim the back assembly thanks Raviv.

Franck's correct, your headlights are a combination of the T34 outer chrome ring with Lucas headlight glass, and some other non-original base.
There are two types of T34 headlights: sealed-beam & bulb-type. It appears that your T34 has the bulb-type outer chrome ring. These are most commonly fitted to European T34s. Sealed-beam ones are most commonly fitted to North American T34s.
Finding replacement bulb-type headlights (unique to T34s) is going to be both expensive (900 Euro for NOS ones) and difficult to locate. Be prepared to spend a great deal to get the right parts.
Good luck!

thanks all for your answers - i guess i will have to keep on looking for a set or maybe try to somehow fit the ones i got. the price quotes for the European ones is unbelievable Welcome to the wonderful world of T-34's. Everything is twice as expensive compared to a normal T-3, which is twice as expensive compared to a bug. The big problem, is because these cars were the top of the VW line when they were made, and built in limited numbers, not a lot is offered by the aftermarket community. This means NOS or good used, or some sort of work around is required. It's just the way it is.
