I'm curious how well they fit. I had a repro windshield of unknown provenance, and it didn't fit for squat. I ended up using the original, which went in like butter. There are some subtle details in the original that the repro was missing.
Unfortunately, my original looks like ass with a lot of delam and fogging around the bottom, but it's in now and that's that.

Was there any printed lettering on the repro windshield to identify it? Might be worth sharing a pic of the label on the ill-fitting windshield so others will know to pass on it.

I'll have to dig out the other windshield and look for markings. I tried to take pictures of the area in question, but it doesn't show up very well. Toward the top of the (original) windshield, there is a slight 'kink' where the glass curves towards the body. The repro windshield didn't have this. The repro glass was more 'flat' than the original, while having the same dimensions, which meant it didn't lay in as close to the body along the pillars. I was using a repro seal, which probably compounded the problem. If I had fought with it some more using an NOS seal, I probably could have got it in there. With this picture, I tried to capture the 'bubble' shape of the original window

So here are a couple pics with a straight edge against- one of the car's installed windshield and one with the new eBay windshield in the box. The curve looks pretty close, so far as I can tell. Does this look reasonable to a more experienced T34 guy? Attachments:

Test fit of ebay windshield and rubber from www.vintagecarparts.de. Looks like both will fit nicely, rubber has smooth corners. Attachments:
