s1093.photobucket.com/user/carmaneg/library/66%20t34?sort=6&page=1Hi all, My name is Al and I'm going to be a T34 owner/driver. Reportedly, the one in the pics above has a good engine and xmission. The rockers look good. I look forward to hours with a double action sander in prepping it for a driver paint job, and new pans. The pans I can get from ISP, but here's a list of things I need from other sources, some of which I've spied on your site's list: Rear window. Front window (the current looks very wiper scored - WHO runs wipers without blades?????) door, window and other seals. Door panels and carpet. Fog lite. Knowing you guys are out there gives me the courage to start this project. Without this gathering, I think they'd be too difficult to corral parts for. Thanks in advance for the help, and I look forward to the fellowship! Al

Rear window in your neck of the woods: www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1451871Finding parts is an adventure to say the least. ISP West has been great source for me for engine or body parts, some Type 34 stuff. Karmannghia.com has some T34 parts. Some items that are harder to find you can try vintageautoparts.de. Shipping is alot but they have some good stuff. Of course the Samba and the fellas here are the prime source for either spare parts or pointing in the right direction. If you go through the Type 34 section of the parts list, youll see what is T34 only (343, 345 parts) and what is shared with beetles (111), Karmann Ghia (141), type 3s (311). www.type3wiki.com/index.php?title=Parts_ListEnjoy the ride!

The body looks not tooooo bad , except the floor . The front end is better than mine was . Much better . But you need a lot of luck to find all the goodies for the interieur and lights for your `66 .
I hope we will see also this Ghia back on the road in the future !

Welcome to T34 World! Great to hear you've made the decision to save the 1966 Coupe in Texas. Patience, persistence, and buying parts the second you find them is the key to finding T34 parts. Asking a lot of questions BEFORE you make purchases to insure you're buying the right parts is another key. We're here to help you so use the forum to get advice.
