I have not been able to find a suitable workaround for this seal. It's a simple one with metal that slides into both the outer & inner lips.

I have the old one, it's just in really bad shape.

I use super-glue to keep the rubber on the metal cover plate, then mount the seal very carefully over the edges of the horn hole. I need to find a good one to get a reproduction made. T34s from 1965-1969 need one.

Ive been looking into different choices for similar seals- will let you know. Do you want my old one? It looks original and you can see the crosssection (it was cut so it is not intact all the way around). While Im here, is the hole in mine normal, is it for the drain or was this modified?

The hole is for the drain of the trunk lid gutter (?) . You know the O-Rubber for the HD or KG - tubes you can use for the drainage aon houses or something else ? Last year a guy gave me such a modified rubber : With 2 slits . One at the outside and a second one at the inside . But it is difficult , because the slits are not in the same position . They are not vis-a-vis but offset !! Jürgen
