I am getting a 6v Optima battery and wish to have a battery hold down strap like the original (does not have to be 100% original) I just want it to look vintage.
What are my options?

Gizmobob and I were trying what to do about that yesterday. I checked for options and the cheapest production part I found was $80. I'm all about just stuffing a towel behind it to keep it from rocking.

Well, I would have never guessed that. Thanks for the pic, so its a strapped hat then, not a shelf or hold down. Interesting.
