Hi Carsten, i believe that it is the early type3 mirrors that will fit ( that's what i have been told ) i have heard that the late model mirrors have a longer and thicker shaft...and that is why the early model ones will fit better ?? is this true ? if you have a pair of good early mirrors can you email some pics to me to have a look at thank you. My email adress is warmridge@bigpond.com once again thank you

General :
caused by some " misunderstandings " in the near past i want to explain some important issues regarding T34 parts / used parts / NOS parts :
I don´t wanna make anyone anxious in any way … but I have had some misunderstandings shortly … in regards of costs, risks and condition of the parts.
There are a lot of Type 34 parts around … but :
- It takes a lot of time to locate them ( emails, phone calls, parts pickup all over europe ! ) - Takes time to inspect them - It’s a lot of work to make fotos and descriptions - it needs room to store parts ( costs ! ) - 99 % of all parts found are USED, out of parts cars and barns !!!! - Costs a lot of money as well for the one offering parts - shipping costs are not in my responsibility! ( depends on the country where to ship to, the services offered, size and weight of parts etc ) - i can only accept payment with paypal plus the paypal fee cause paypal is deducting this amount from the payment! If you are ok with all this … I will try to organize and offer parts! If not ... its ok for me, but i won´t put in time then.
You have to be patient please, i am not running a business with parts, nor do I earn my money with that ! i am not able to give any warranties / guarantees for parts generally.
its my passion to help owners locating parts and cars etc and thats what it should stay ... no stress but fun !
thanks Carsten

Thanks for the information/warning, Carsten. It's important for buyers to know how difficult it is for sellers to source & provide spare parts. Buying parts is a risky business, especially with the extremely expensive shipping costs around the world. It's essential that the spare parts are photographed very well to show all the defects ahead of time. Without these detailed photos the buyers cannot make informed decisions and take the risk of the parts not meeting their expectations.
