I'm not sure this is in the right section, as its not authentic, but I've just acquired this Tacho, can't find any info on it on the net, and was wondering if anyone on here knew who might have built it?

Hello from Germany, I cannot tell you who exactly built your tach. It looks like one of the standard VDO-Tachs and a T34 clock were used for the conversion. Quite common, especially since those standard VDO tachs are available for little money (and still can be bought new). The faceplate differs a little over the years, I could not find the exact match within the last 5 minutes, but this should not be too difficult. The German expression is "Drehzahlmesser" (NOT "Tachometer" - the German word "Tachometer" in English is a "speedometer"). Regards Jörg
