Yes I've been reading many simmilar stories since, should have done that first I guess. Like one guy said, they suck the air right out of your project which is how I feel right now.............. Its been a very very expensive mistake dealing with them, hopefully they will make it right but I doubt that will be easy to achieve. From what I have only about 50% of the kit is usable and even then I won't know if those pieces actually fit until I come to use them. Let it serve as a warning to others, don't buy your interior stuff from West Coast Classic.

I will do that and a lot more once I feel he's had enough time to sort it out.

still a big issue with the carpets .... we have a company here in Germany as well ... called : www.dgs-autoteppiche.de/shop/shop/komplettausstattungen/vw/3463559e8009cd50c.phpthey offer a complete kit at a crazy cheap price in different colors , also same story ... only for later cars ... although phoning them up several times, sent early patterns ... no reactions ... some guys have ordered the carpets ... some are satisfied, others not ... no solution in sight there i m afraid

Hi together, regarding geting new carpets please be careful in ordering from dgs-autoteppiche.de I have made a very bad experience! All carpet parts did not fit at all. Too short or too long. The cut outs for pedals, the belts or the gear shifter were on the wrong place and the quality of the skirts were very very poor. Further more the part behind the back seat was missing. After a odyssey of calling and writing I got it sent (dimensions too long) free of charge , wow... If anyone need detail images of that desaster, please feel free to send a mail. Getting this stuff I was sure that with help of my mum I would have done it better and cheaper by using capet sold by meter/yard... Sorry for my hard words and my opinion, but once You got stuff like that You have the trouble. Best regards from Berlin! Attachments:

It seems like everything purchased from Germany (new or used) is either too expensive or total garbage. At least "you" can go and face these people in person.... the rest of us in the world just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.... cheers.

Far more problems dealing with American companies from overseas, nightmare to sort out afterwards. WCC still haven't bothered to respond.

price level in germany is even double ... thats how it is ... digging out parts and things is complicated, takes a LOT of time and money ... this is disregarded by many people ...
very very few good real good parts here and if ..... you can buy a complete T 34 in the us for the price of a headlight set in europe for example

Well its been long enough now and nothing usefull from West Coast Classic so I now have to see if I can somehow sue them for damages from here. To say I'm annoyed would be the understatement of the century, PLEASE people take note and don't buy from Lenny@classicvws.com

Update to this, received 3 yards of replacement carpet and binding from Lenny. We both agreed that just sending the carpet was easiest and best so that I can re make the incorrect pieces.
