The German company 'Gebr. Happich GmbH' (GHE) in Wuppertal has supplied a lot of trim parts to Volkswagens. I have compiled a list of some of them for the T34:
550 A098 Aufschraub-Schubladenascher (Ashtray) 343 857 301 562 0010 GHE-Sipa-Sonnenblende (Sunblind, left) 343 857 551 562 0011 GHE-Sipa-Sonnenblende (Sunblind, right) 343 857 552 621 0000 Garderobehaken (Coat hook) 141 857 635 614 Z058 Armlehne (Armrest) 343 867 171/172 500 Z023 Armaturenbrett-Polsterauflage (Dashpad, upper) 343 857 051 500 Z019 Blendschutz (Dashpad, lower) 343 857 061A 501 Z008 Seitenwand-Verkleidungen (Padded top, door) 343 867 281/282 501 Z010 Seitenwand-Verkleidungen (Padded top, quarter panel) 343 867 285/286
The company is still in business manufacturing trim parts, today mostly for commercial vehicles. Has anyone approached them with the question if they would reproduce parts for the T34? They should still be sitting on drawings and manufacturing know-how, although molds and tools probably are scrapped.

There has been no communication with Happich to my knowledge. But, that is an excellent opportunity for YOU to contact them and see what they say!

Alright, picked up the glove! An enquiry is sent to Happich GmbH with some explanation to the list of parts.
Keeping my expectations low, though. Almost 2 years since I contacted Webasto regarding my sunroof, but I have got no reply at all from them.

Good to hear you're giving it a try. You never know when an opportunity will turn positive and help every T34 owner! Good luck!

Happich struggled back in 2009! the company has been sold severla times throughout the years : it is now owned by a holding group calling PELZER : www.happich.de/en/standort_deutschland.phpi think there are no roots back to what they did before ... the company is located in Wuppertla, which is close to where i live ! i can give it a try as well

So far no reply whatsoever from Happich. Starting to wonder if German suppliers never answer anybody...
Carsten, if you PM me your e-mail I can send you the letter I sent Happich if you want to pay them a visit.
I have checked their current online catalog; they still manufacture some items from the 60's. Unfortunately, none of them for the T34.
