A picture of a VDO fuel tank sending unit. (don't know if it's complete) It's missing resistance wire and outer tube and a nut&washer to hold the tube in place. If it has the floater, it has most parts it needs to get it work: Wire can be purchased separately and outer tube is just for protection and damping the movements. That's useful info. The unit came with the other parts when i bought my car in 2009.
The fuel gauge on my own T34 (1967) doesn't work. This can be either the gauge or the sending-unit. Maybe i should take the unit out of my own car before i sell this one and compare the both. I believe the one i have for sale is an older model than the one in my car.
Maybe i can repair the one in my car or complete the one i have for sale. I will try to fix this when the weather improves over here.
