I'm looking for an engine cover lock barrel/button. The latch mechanism is there but no button, also require the trim corners at the base of the C pillar, basicaly an extension of the rear 1/4 interior cards........if that makes any sense?

The tiny screw seems to have come loose from your rear lock. Tough to find a spare unless Larry, Carsten, or Jurgen have one. Easier to find an NOS or good used complete lock on theSamba or ebay. Plan to spend $100 for it.
The early T34s 1962-65 used these black plastic molded pieces and they're also really tough to find. Check the same sources above for help.

Hi John , can you show me/us the button on a picture you`re looking for ? This plastic piece under the C-pillar was also splashed in my 65 at the left side as a result of a crash the car had back in the 60`s . It was not changed at that time so I had to find another one . It was not easy . And it was 20 years ago ... Jurgen

I'll try to remember to take a picture of the rear lock in the weekend, its essentially the button you push in to open the rear trunk lid. I thought those trims would be hard to find, its something I can probably make easy enough tho so not such a big deal.
