Hi Is there originally some sort of an mechanisim that keeps the engine cover lid open. Like in an notchbak there is an catch that keeps the lid open. I'm asking becource now i use an aluminium diy prop that hold the lid open and I'm quite sure that originally there has been some sort of an thing that has kept the lid open. Here a picture of my current prop.

As Carsten said, there is no catch or other prop so we T34 owners get to be creative and improvise! I'll post a picture if I can find one but I made mine from a length of copper tubing and put rubber caps on the ends. It is rather attractive.

I've seen one: It's a hook near trunk opening front end and a catch in the middle of the engine bay cover. I've no idea what year that came but the owner claimed that it's from factory, not self made.
(Not necessarily a type 34 though, but some other type 3.)

The T34s never came with any type of engine trapdoor latching system to keep it open. That's how you can tell it's unqiuely for the T34. Notchback lid has a hole in the top with a spring-loaded metal clip that snaps into the upper wall of the rear compartment. Squareback/Variant has a cloth strap with a metal hook.

Yes, sounds very much like a notchback then.
