I have a set of his floors and they look perfect! My restoration has not yet started so I can't comment on their fitment but being around sheetmetal for many years I can already tell they look like they will be an exellent fit.

I have no direct experience with it (or them), but there are several T-3 owners who have bought and installed their pans with excellent results. The reports have been good on quality and fit. By the way, KlassicFab does make bus panels as well, and have been doing so for years.

ISP West is now selling Type 3 floor pan sections. The ad says half and quarter sections.

The pressings look pretty rough to me, even in the pictures so I'd say they would be worse in real life and certainly no where as nice as the Gerson ones.

Agreed, but I thought I would post it to give folks an option.

Klassikfab have a quite good reputation within bus hobbyists as they started by making T2 parts and have been selling those for years now. BTW: A very nice garage you have there.

Mate, at that price get yourself a set of Klassicfab pans........... Yeah exactly.... Spoke to Al at Das Resto about hooking me up with some funky green stuff (sounds like a drug deal!), and he reckons they'll be around 550 a piece.... Still too much a for a couple of battery trays.... Might have to make my own I reckon....

Is the NZ/Aussie T3 contingent big enough to organize a group order to reduce the costs? Or maybe a VW supplier that already buys T2 panels from Bogota Columbia?

A good friend of mine in NSW is also a big importer of VW goods.... Mostly performance stuff, but as he's bringing container loads of stuff back twice a year, I can get stuff loaded in for very little.... Plan to ask him if he can import the panels for me.... Might see if I can get some of those snappy rear guard repair sections too...
