Myself:
Richard Jones 30 yrs. old.
type 34 ghia madman ! I absolutely love this car, and have for some 12 yrs.
Born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley.
the t34......short story
I originally bought our car for my wife. She fell in love with them when she saw one at a show in Prescott, AZ.
After some changes to the car it became mine, because she was afraid to drive it...BIG MOTOR ! Thats when my obsession happened. I ended up buying 2 more around the vegas valley for parts to finish the car up or make it complete rather.
Once that came together I decided to restore it within my abilities, and put it on air suspension.
After it was done I enjoyed every bit of itextension being as it was a full extension of my personality.......Until april 2011 when a car pulled out in front of me...BAM ! Front end was gone !
Here I am one year later, I have the front end almost straight, and am going in another direction with the car restoration.
Now mind you, I am a custom guy through and through, but appreciate and enjoy factor or semi custom cars as well. I am a car enthusiast not a stock or custom only nazi.
Things done to the car:
RHD conversion, performed my me....i made the dash from 2 lhd ones
full tube chassis with a arms ...all custom...my pan got destroyed in the accident
larger wheels ....18's in the rear and 17's up front....car is fully tubbed
Hydraulic suspension this time..not the hopper kind, but the nice to ride in kind..it really exists.
The list goes on....However I am maintaining the t34 look, body lines, and interior styling. The car was made gorgeous from the factory and its lines, and ridges are what I fell in love with.
I will add some pics later today, but wanted to make this happen after speaking with Lee earlier.
