Hello all, here - I hope - are a couple of photo's of my 1965 T343 which I have recently imported to the UK from Arizona. As you can see I have lots of work ahead of me not least because I did not strip the car, I bought it in this condition and have not worked on one of these cars before.

That 1965 M343 has gone from Germany to America and now back to England! I can't wait to hear the fantastic story! I've sent you questions about the story to share in a T34 World News article.
Do you know yet what color combination you're planning to go with? Do you know what colors it was originally?

The car has actually gone from Germany to Arizona, then Alabama and onto California before going back to Arizona and now England. Was originally Henna Red as per the paint in the headlight/foglight bowls but that I plan to go with Cherry Red and black roof,,,, or possibly Sea Blue depending on what interior I can manage to pick up. Cherry Red would be more in keeping with the history of the car I guess.

I have just managed to find this 1965 (ignore the H suffix registration) 344 to assist me with the restoration of my very incomplete 343. It was originally Sea Blue resprayed Henna Red. The plan is to use the 344 as a guide when I rebuild the 343, it will no doubt have to sacrifice some of its parts as well but before you all line up to shoot me, I'm not going to scrap the 344, I will restore it myself or sell it to someone else to do when my 343 is finished. The photo's make it look OK but needs an awful lot of work! Also there are a lot of 1968 parts on the 344 as back in the 1970's the previous owner scrapped a 68 car and put all the bits onto this one . So it is not an original car anyway. It had sat on the previous owners driveway since 1988 so wish me luck getting the engine going.
