Just bought my first type 34 last week. I was at Winter Jam in Daytona, FLA. when I spotted it in the swap meet. I have wanted one ,so I jumped on it. I couldn't bring it home, because I was in my 61 Bug. I am going back to Fla this coming Saturday to pic it up. I can't wait to get started! Attachments:

Went to Florida and picked the car up saturday. I have accumulated a few parts to build an outlaw 34. I have a type 4 motor with IRS transaxle. I also bought a rare set of mag industries wheels. I am selling the ATS wheels that are on it if anyone is intrested.

Received my cars birth certificate today. It was built May 11 of 1966 and shipped to Central America on May 23 1966. The original color was roulette green with a pearl white top. The options were white wall tires, mph speedo, laminated windshield, and M277 which is not identified. Upholstery was leatherette balear. I found some paperwork inside the car that showed the car spent some time in the Bahamas before it made it to the states.

Good to hear you received your birth certificate! Can you email me the JPG of your birth certificate to keep with the T34 archives please? LeeHedges@T34World.org
M277 - there is no known T34 listing for this option. The Bus code M277 is for a modified exhaust for Switzerland. The Beetle M277 is for a decklid without louvres for Switzerland. The Porsche M277 is for a special Switzerland part. I could not find an M277 for the T14s.

Wow what a set-up.... Sure wish I had that sort of facility to work in!.... As for the part of the world you live in.... Simply awesome!.... I spent some time down in Brunswick many years ago, running a youth hostel.... Amazing time, amazing place.... All the best with your outlaw!
