my name is roel verhagen from oss holland ive owned my 34 since 2001 when i bought it as a fixer upper the car was sold new in germany in 1966 on the 28 of april to mr. karl muller from beuel he kept it for 10 years and then he sold it to mrs. a roloff in bonn she drove the car until 1987 and then she parked it in 2000 it was picked up by the great old vw parts scrounger abdullah and he sold it on to henk van eijk of vw classics fame in holland thats when i saw the 34 and i traded a recently finished beachbuggy for it when i got it home it became clear the car needed much more work than i thought and i left it in my shop for 5 years i started work on it in 2006 and it needed alot of welding but it had only done 65000 miles since new i finished the car a day before budel [thats the biggest show in holland] and drove in a very proud man it has had 2 resprays since and has done a additional 25000 kilometers iincluding trips to switserland an england
