I used a glazier's stick to help get them in place. This tool is used by glass shops to help install windows. If you've never seen 1 before, it's a plastic strip, about 6 to 8mm thick, by about 13 to 18mm wide, with a taper on both ends (about 30mm long). The stick is about 6 inches (about 150mm) long total. What also helped was getting the screws started, and the working the seal in place, the slightly more screw pressure to help hold the seal in place. I hope this helps.

I have tried the partly screwed in method, but with limited success... But the idea of using a glaziers stick is top idea.... Think I might actually have one..... Cheers for that tip Bob.
