That NOS speedo has been available for quite a long time ... Only authentic for 1964 (100mph amber needle).
Peter Fried is in Germany and has very expensive parts

My T34 is from Oct 1964. I removed the gauges in preparation for the restoration. I will have to check again but I'm sure my gauges with gold rings have white needles ... could this mean I have period incorrect gauges ?? I hope not as this could be an expensive restoration unless I can do a straight swap?

Your October 1964 T34 is called a 1965 model year. 1965 T34s have white gauge needles and bronze center dials. The earliest 195s have the small-diameter speedo and the vast majority of the later 1965s have the larger diameter speedo.
What's the VIN# on your 1965?

Would certainly solve my broken trim ring problem.

VIN is 345 046 085 It is LHD with all red tail lights and the speedo is in MPH .. Cherry red black roof. Upholstery material Slate I will post a pic of the gauges .. they need s bit of TLC

Here's a pic of the gauges in need of some attention. The speedo is in MPH, not much use to me in the Philippines where it's KPH. Not that with the Manila traffic I am likely to get over 60 KPH ! The speaker grille was painted over in silver but the gold ring is showing through the scratches. The tachometer is by Gossen, used in Type 3's I believe? Attachments:
