The best choice (easy to find, least expensive, & easy installation) is to buy the Beetle Cabriolet outer window scraper set. Measure the scraper in the T34 door window channel and you'll see it needs to be trimmed at the front edge by about an inch. Mark the holes based on the existing door holes, drill holes into new scraper, then mount into the door.
Vent frame needs to be removed to mount the outer window scraper properly.

You are in Israel, so you'll need to find the closest vintage VW parts supplier to you. You're going to need this shop for a lot of parts.

It will be easier for me to find a Cabriolet T-34 here in Israel than to find a vintage VW part supplier... :-) was hoping for an online store link to purchase from.

And take a very deep breath while you're looking at those prices ... Astronomical prices for T34 parts seem to be the norm these days. With the popularity of the T34 the suppliers have raised parts prices beyond comparison to other VW prices. Will prices ever come down to earth? Very doubtful since there are fewer & fewer quality T34s to buy as the years pass.

Way back when I started working on my 64 T-34 (May 2010), I found this link to a list that Lee made. Now some of the suppliers are gone, most are still in business. Here's the link I used for parts shopping. www.leehedges.com/t34/puret34/partssource.pdf

I've actually tried calling and emailing Bill&Steve's for their Beetle cabriolet window scraper (item no.24 on Lee's PDF) but no answer from neither...
any other source of this window scraper around the web?
Thanks Raviv.

Thanks Raviv. I got mine thru Air Head parts (www.airheadparts.com). They're a sister company of Karmann Ghia Parts and Restorations (http://www.karmannghia.com/home.asp). I've bought quite a bit from both compaines for my T-34, as they have a really nice selection of parts. I found that by making up a parts list (using their part numbers from each company), and calling them was the easiest for me to get the parts in 1 order that I needed from both companies. I hope this helps.
