A$10K is a good price. Not many in Australia to choose from. But he's listed it as a 1967 but the VIN# proves it to be a late-1964, confirmed by the small-diameter speedo & tunnel heater controls.

The wiper blades park to the right they must be from a 71 or 72 squareback

Why would you think that? Something I missed? All RHD T34s have their wipers parking to the right. All LHD T34s have their wipers parking to the left.

In 70 VW changed the wiper shaft to a coned shaft with a stud and nut. In 71 type 3s the wipers parked to the right . I hav't seen enough right hand drive cars to know that they park to the right.

anyhow ... 10000 aud is a steal compared to prices in europe !!!! some issues but seems to be a driver
