There's a mention of repro windshield trim corner clips, but no info on how to buy.
Does anyone have a pic of the vertical dash trims installed?

Patience, my friend. The corner window clips are coming but the details have not yet been ironed out. Price is not yet known, quantity is not yet known, ordering, etc. Look for a full article in the next edition.
The dash trim pieces were just made ... like two days before these photos were taken. I removed the set from a RHD 1965 Coupe and they are an exact match.

Regarding the dash trims - I don't think I've ever seen a dash with them installed; until I read this issue, I didn't know they existed.

Are the rear window latch pieces machined? Or are they cast? I'm just asking, as I'd like a set, since the used ones I got from Greg Skinner need rechroming anyway. Plus the OE pieces are made from pot metal.

Bob,
You won't regret getting the Q-window latch pieces. I bought a pair of them. They are machined, then chromed and the chrome is not bad. Well worth the money.
-Greg
Oh...I finally finished the deflector plates and dash trims, so I'll be in touch with folks soon.

I was wondering how they were made. After breaking the originals, and seeing how they were made (after I put some heat to them), I was a little leary of them (they've got air pockets in the castings). The ones I got from you are still holding up well, but I'd like a spare set just in case, as those OE parts are very fragile. Thanks again for the report. I'll be contacting Lee soon about a pair. I'll probably be contacting you about a set of those trims too, as my super glued originals didn't stay together very well.

Bob,
To sorta remove the risk for you, if you don't like them, I'll buy them from you and restore a complete pair of Q-window latches using my Type 14 spares and sell them on der Samba. 8^)
They'll get the job done.
I have a set of dash trims for you. My originals were broken and I carefully created a mold from the pieces. They might not be the exact color you want, but they can be painted any color you want. And I can make more.
-Greg

I'm a little short, due to my birthday coming up, and the state wants their share for vehicle registrations (they're due on our birthday here, or you pay a penalty). But I'm still looking at getting those items.

I got the latch pieces today (without pins or screws), and they look pretty good. They're not machined, but rather some sort of casting (with better material?), but do seem heavier than the original parts. They did get a light machining (clean up)thru the gap for the other parts to clear (maybe that's why Greg thought they were machined), but seem to have some material there. The chrome finish is good (better than my originals) too. Just thought I've give you some feedback on them, but it'll be a month or so when I finally get around to trying them out (waiting for it to warm up).
