Winter Jam 2011 Daytona Beach

Is anybody planing to go to the Winter Jam in Daytona Beach on Feb. 24. - 27. ?
We are three VW nuts from Switzerland (all T34 drivers) and we will fly in to Miami on Feb. 23. and drive up north on Thursday. Would be cool to meet up with some US - T34 drivers. Lee, I suppose you won't be able to make it to this event!?
Also any tips or hints what to see or visit in Florida (VW related of course) are welcome. A stop at Gunthers VW in Coconut Creek is already planed.
We are so excited and looking forward to this one week trip!

That sounds like a fun trip.
Make sure you put SunRay Bugs in Dade City Florida on your itinerary. Corky Yeager owns the place and has over 800 vintage VWs in an open space rusting away. When I visited back in the early-90's there were 3-4 T34s there including an early M345 and an open roof Coupe. Good guy, very nice to spend time with, and excited about T34s.

I was at SunRay Bugs in November, 2010, just after Bug Jam, and got to walk the yard. I've got a few pics of the T-34's in the field, but did not get a chance to see the M345. Also, while you're in Corky's office, you can see a vintage pic of Lee Hedges during his visit there!
