I am sure that there also some more T34-drivers like me that are not registered .
I`m only there just for this day ( Saturday ) .

You guys are sooo lucky to have so many nice T34s there and great VW shows over there! I'm jealous. At least we (in California anyway) get to drive our cars all year long  Have a great time, wish we could be there. |

OK, then let's meet on Saturday, June 21 around 17:00 hrs at the T34 Cabriolets (there should be at least a black one and a white one) to get to know each other in person. I prepared a little flyer which we will show on Friday and Saturday around our T34, so nobody misses that information:  Are there any spelling errors? Please let me know! Hope to see you on Saturday! Do we have a separated area for the T34? Has anyone talked to the Grundmann's about? It would be nice to see all the T34 togehter...

Hi together,
because the city in closed for non-registrated visitors, I decided to not make the run from Berlin to the meeting. For me it makes no sense to park somewhere outside...

Actually, there is no real "outside", even if you don't have a ticket for "inside"... Remember, when the exact date for H.O. was made public in Aug. 2012, within 2 days there were more than 300 participants registered, and after 6 weeks it was 700... Die Fußgängerzone bzw. der Ortskern ist nur für Teilnehmer befahrbar (anders geht es ja auch nicht, da jeder freie Winkel mit Fahrzeugen besetzt sein wird), aber normalerweise sind auch die Seitenstraßen voller alter VW und man findet ein Plätzchen in der Nähe und hat 5, maximal 10 Minuten zu laufen. Der Ort selbst ist ziemlich weitläufig, und es pendeln z.B. ständig Besuchergruppen zwischen Fußgängerzone und Grundmann-Museum. Auf dem Luftbild unten sieht man in etwa den "Sperrbezirk" (rotes Oval links vom Kreisverkehr). Alle anderen Straßen sind "frei beparkbar". Ich würde meinen Besuch nicht davon abhängig machen, ob ich reinfahren kann oder nicht. Grüße, Jörg  |

Finally arrived at H.O. about a couple hours ago.
It was fun driving 5 hrs with three T34 (Heiko, Tobi and me) through German countryside to the event.
Already crowded here, and even the weather is fine. Beautiful cars all around the town!
Hope to meet you at the T34 Greet and Meet tomorrow around 5 PM.
