OK We had a great trip planned, so why should we let stink-pot event promoters ruin the whole thing? By leaving a day earlier than we planned, and driving like crazy, we can be in southern California in time to attend the Pomona Swap meet on June 1st. Trip on! Anyone interested in having dinner on Friday night June 6th? We are going to go to the OCTO Show on Saturday, and then head home from there.

Jim, I'm glad to hear that you've decided not to cancel your trip! I don't know if you've heard, but there's now an alternative VW show planned for June 8. It's going to take place in Chino, CA near the Blackstar VW campout. We will have start the drive back on Saturday after the OCTO Show, so the sunday deal is out for us.. Maybe dinner Friday night? Same place as the last few years? The Tex-Mex food was good.
