How do I order my T34s birth certificate?Click here automuseum.volkswagen.de/index.php?id=12&L=1and visit Volkswagen's online birth certificate processing site. It costs 35 Euros (US$48) and takes from 4-6 weeks to be processed. You'll need to know your T34s chassis # before you begin. Then simply enter your information and use a credit card to pay for it and you're done. Fast & easy! It took me less than a minute to complete the entire transaction for my M346. I received my birth certificate (A4 size certificate on watermarked VW Museum paper) in 22 days! My 1965 M346 confirmed it was an M346 (always an issue with so many Coupes being fitted with electric sunroof grafts), that it was originally Sea Blue & Blue-White with Silver upholstery, built 27 August but not delivered until 28 October 1964 (two months later!) to a European Tourist, and fitted with a MPH speedometer (M271), white wall tires (M251), & laminated windshield (M256). This is priceless information to document the T34s history.

Got my certificate back today - how exciting, i now know that originally my car has M139 sealed beam headlights and red rear lamp lenses, plus other unidentifiable extras M002, M061 and M277. Surpised by all of these as i had always thought that sealed beam units were not used in Europe but maybe i was wrong. if anyone has any clues on what the unidentifed options were that would be interresting BW Graham

That's the great thing about this service: learning the individual details about your T34! Graham, can you share all of the info with us from your birth certificate? I track VIN #s with their production dates & delivery dates in the Registry Annual Data Tables section so other owners can estimate their T34s birthday and confirm if their engine # is authentic.
I don't have the M-Codes for your T34 in my M-Code chart. Maybe someone else knows.

Congratulations, Brad! Thanks for sharing the info. I've added your T34s birth information into the Annual Dating Tables on T34 World. Anyone else have info to add?
